Originally by: Aelita Yes I'd test Shiva and then cancel all my 800 orders in Crux. So I will let all these CCP funboys taste pre-shiva feel. I'm sure few orders still will be active in Crux because I had competitors there but for things like basic reinforcement bulkheads or basic expander cargoholds there will be frankly any deman.
Many new players will have nowhere to sell theirs basic stuff from NPC rats or missions. They will must recycle it and try sell in tinny orders theirs ore far below fair price...
Bye bye good working market and welcome useless regulated market with taxes :) I'm moving my Jade Nexia back to alliance space and kissing bye all overcrowded empire space.
I couldnt agree more. My trading account has about 3000 active orders, providing liquidity for many items in different regions. 2900 less orders in shiva = near zero quicksell prices for anything.

2 weeks? ahahaha, what a joke. I hope its not such a pain to put orders up like it is now.
So, with my orders way above the limit when I enter shiva, does that mean I will be completely out of business for 3 months? I cant cancel thousands of orders that would take a whole freaking day hitting cancel. And I dont wanna do that, I spent hours setting these things up.
I agree with Aelita, our profession got wiped out, this sucks.

Thats fine! But there is nothing to train to get 2000 orders.
Also about the spam orders, you think these changes will reduce them? I say they will increase. Spam orders can only do harm if there is no better order in the system. Reduced orders overall=more chances to place spam orders. People like Aelita who place orders all over the place drastically reduce the chances for any spam orders to appear.

Its not only about aggregating, its about selling stuff. Think about agent missions, you do 2 weeks missions for a school and get 50 different skillbooks in large amounts. Well I'm type who like to put these up for sale undercutting the SCHOOL and thus making it cheaper for newbies, ALOT cheaper since there other people too undercutting me for more! Theres 50 orders I wont put up anymore.

Originally by: Al Thorr Well Ive watched this thread get bigger n bigger. all the pros and all the cons. But at the end of the day the buy order arguments are a tad woeful. the sell order arguements are genuine worries.
The buy order peeps, as it stands, are out to make a quick isk - nothing more nothing less. the genuine buy order peeps out there have absolutley nothing to fear. But those intent on getting zyd and mega modules at below mineral cost fom nOObs who dont know better ( or drunken peeps who cant help it) will suffer. - I must admit was ages since I sold a module for isk on the market - most get bundled into groups of 100 and recycled. I have 95 different items for sale on the market atm( usually over 120 - not including ammo) and Im training as fast as I can I hope to adapt to the problem. If I cant sell all at once when shiva arrives then Ill put out my best isk earners and when available, sell on the rest. Still cant see what the problem is - adapt or stay on forums and whine about the good old days. But the change IS happening.
Dont you realise that those buy orders will end up even lower? So the 'poor drunkard' who sold Zydrine at 3000 will end up with 1000 or something. Think first, then write dribble.
